Health & Nutrition
At Seeds Montessori, we understand the importance of healthy and nutritional meals to help children develop their growing minds and bodies.
As part of our dedication to providing exceptional early childhood education and care, we provide nutritious meals, prepared by our professionally qualified chef. All meals are freshly prepared daily, in our onsite kitchen, using quality food sourced from local producers, shops and suppliers.
Each day, children are provided with breakfast, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and a late snack.
At Seeds, we work with our families to accommodate for any allergies or any special dietary requirements of each child.

Building Healthy Food Relationships Through Culinary Learning at Seeds Montessori Mawson Lakes
At Seeds, we believe that mealtimes are meaningful learning experiences that nurture independence, practical life skills, and positive relationships with food. Children actively participate in preparing, serving, and sharing meals, developing confidence, coordination, responsibility, and self-help skills.
Our culinary classes with Chef Nicole further enrich this experience by introducing children to new ingredients, flavours, and cooking techniques. Through hands-on participation, children are encouraged to explore unfamiliar foods, take healthy risks, and develop curiosity about food in a supportive environment.
By preparing and enjoying meals together, children build a strong sense of community, practice grace and courtesy, and develop a genuine appreciation for mealtimes as moments of connection, nourishment, and belonging.
